LIVE ART by Anya&Davide is a performance act by Polish-Italian artist couple Anna Truskolaska and Davide Canepa, based on expressive live painting in public.
After years spent in Italy, Scotland and England, Anya and Davide settled in Sopot (Poland) and are active on the Polish art scene, organizing exhibitions and painting live together during public events.
Although they both love abstract art, their painting styles are very different, often instinctively depicting two contrasting energies - Yin and Yang, feminine and masculine. The common denominator of their work is the bold use of colour and the fascination with the subconscious.

Davide Canepa is a modern symbolist from Genoa (Italy). He exhibited his works in many European cities and his paintings are part of private collections all over the world. In his use of symbols he wants us to connect with our nature, the code we all carry within ourselves from the beginning of the human journey. “Wedding with Class” - Interview
How long have you been working in the wedding industry?
We have been painting professionally for over 14 years. We exhibited our works in London, Rotterdam, Barcelona, Rome, Genoa, and most recently Poland – Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia and Warsaw. Our paintings have been appreciated by art collectors around the world - USA, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany and Russia.
In 2017, we painted live in front of an audience for the first time - and that’s how LIVE ART by Anya&Davide was born! In 2018 we started working for newlyweds, companies, organizations, galleries - painting live during private and public events all around Poland.
What started as a spontaneous desire to bring art closer to people turned into our dream profession.
What is included in your standard offer?
- arrival at the venue before the guests (setting up easels, paints and accessories)
- several hours of live painting (about 3-4 hours) by a couple of painters
- completion of artworks by the end of the event
- 2 individual abstract paintings 1x1 m

What can you offer to people for whom ecology is important?
Ecology is important to us as well. We buy our canvases from local producers and we consciously choose paints with Ecolabel certificate, that are both durable and water-soluble, making them safe for the environment.
What makes your offer unique?
Our offer is innovative, because along with the performance the newlyweds receive two large paintings created especially for them. Each of our paintings is one of a kind and personalized. Moreover, live painting during weddings is relatively new on European market! By choosing us, you will stay ahead of the trends and offer your guests original, exclusive entertainment.
What are your greatest strengths?
We are creative, open-minded, we love improvisation. Moreover, we are multilingual (Polish, English, Italian) so we’ll be happy to talk to your foreign guests.
What do you like the most about our job?
Painting is not just a job for us, it’s a vocation :) We love free expression. By painting live during various events, we not only transfer the energy of the evening to the canvas, but also share our greatest love with others live, directly during the creation process, often inspiring people to discover their own creativity - this is a completely new way of experiencing art.

What equipment/materials do you use?
We use durable acrylic paints, and all our paintings have painted edges, so they do not require framing. In the case of live painting at a wedding, we bring two easels, two canvases and paints.
Can you personalise the service at client’s request?
Yes, we are flexible and will gladly adapt to the expectations of the bride and groom in terms of colours, form and sizes of canvases.
How do you help clients without a specific vision?
First, we invite them to see our works and get to know the style of our art, and then we discuss their colour preferences and our ideas related to their wedding. People who do not have a specific vision usually rely on our intuition - we guarantee that they are never disappointed!
